AT&T SBC Yahoo "support"

So I try and check my home email and check the internet yesterday am and for some reason can't log on... can't get a connection.

Not a biggie... seems like it happens about every 2 mos. or so. I do all the turn off and on the router, modem, etc to no avail. I spend 1.5 hr on the phone to bum fuck India and they confirm my connection is good, but we determined something had happened to the Internet Explorer software...

So he then transfers me to AT&T Support Plus. They calmly inform me that for $130 they would supply a year of support. No thanks. Oh, wait, for $80 they'll do 30 days! No thanks. Wait, just for me, they'll do it for $59.95. Sorry... goodbye.

So I seemed to recall something called system restore... I find it on the computer, ran it to restore back 1 week... BINGO! I fixed it myself - for free!

Great folks, those mutha fucking AT&T pricks!

LOL and just think you pay them for a monthly fee.... I always thought customer service was part of the monthly bill you paid...


I completely dumped AT&T a long while ago..(well except they never deleted my email address which I have kept all these years...for free lol)
