Bird is cleaning house!!
Good for him... Man the Pacers almost made me sick to my stomach the last few years...........
Thank God Larry has the testicular fortitude to stick to his guns and clean house and get rid of the ghetto TRASH we had all over the fucking roster!!
We came out of the draft with a 7'2" defensive stopper at Center, a promising young 6'7" shooting guard/swing forward in Rush and a young PG in TJ Ford that isn't a fat, lazy sleazebag like Tinsley is. Not to mention a back-up PG in Jack, back-up 7' center in Rasho, A young Josh McRoberts and Bastion (basically salary filler)
I know Larry isn't done yet and is actively trying to move Williams Tinskey and Harrison, but Jesus who would actually want any of them? Hell Isiah is gone in New York or I would have said dump them all there..

Re: Bird is cleaning house!!
Agreed, 2shock...
Some are calling for his head... I'm glad he's taken the stand that if he's going down, it will be with his team, not one he was handed and told to deal with.
It will be real interesting to see how this all turns out. Face it... it can only go up from here!

I agree......
I haven't sat down and watched a Pacer game in almost 2 years. Let's hope Larry knows what he's doing. Maybe they should have Polian council them on how to do it right.

Re: Bird is cleaning house!!
Actually I like the way things are starting to shape up... we will be buying out or dumping Tinsley here real soon, and Daniels and Williams are most likely gone too...
So getting Brandon Rush fills a need for a guy that can back-up either Granger or Dunleavy and is a defensive stopper as well..... it was a great move by Bird... and getting Roy Hibbert in the East will turn out to be one of the best moves of the draft, especially with the lack of guys his size at center in the East... I mean really other than Dwight Howard how many quality TRUE centers are there in the entire conference?
TJ ford as the starter at PG and Jack/diener backing him up are key here though, we really struggled at PG the last couple of years due to Tinsley's lack of conditioning causing him injuries..... I've never felt like Tinsley was a professional and never acted like he was.
And I think with clearing out those ego's and bad vibes in the locker room and turning over the leadership of the team to Granger and Dunleavy.... I just think these moves are REALLY going to open up Granger's game and let us showcase our Superstar in waiting..(I think Granger makes the All-Star team next season)

So far yes....... Actually Kareem hasn't played bad for us at all and is reportedly one of the hardest workers on the team (i guess being out of the league for a while changed his attitude for the better) and if we move Daniels and Williams his value to the team will be much more... so I don't think we get rid of Kareem.
