Re: M...
Basketball, shmasketball........there's more to life than bouncing a ball on the ground and throwing it at a round metal ring that's fixed to a high pole!! I say poo-poo on any sport that doesn't let my team win!!
Cinco de Mayo?
Oui, Oui.......Napoleon still can't figure out how those Mexicans kicked his ass!! There's no doubt that Mexico wishes all Europeans were French. So does Hitler. And Japan. And the muslims. And everybody else on this planet. But hey.....those Frenchies sure had pretty uniforms.
Let's hear it for the French and their pretty uniforms!! Oui, Oui!!

Oh, he figured it out all right. Took him a second, but he finally realized he'd been dead for 41 years before the Battle of Puebla. Sorta got a late start...
Doesn't matter, even if he was alive, you don't go cruisin' in a strange barrio at night dressed like that...

Re: M...
Miguel wasn't much of a basketball fan either.
You know how you baseball guys get
Basketball was always the best since I could practice any where when I was a kid and you didn't need any other players to do that.
Baseball and football aren't much fun by yourself or even with 10 other guys.
Oh I edited that A4ABuc.....they were saying tuesday when I was watching the game and didn't check the schedule but they did bring that up during the bawstahn game.
Too bad Bynum is in bad shape now
Imagine cholo's in French

Re: M...
I'm not sure how bad a shape Bynum's in, the Lakers are being very cautious with his injury, but for a young guy he's not healing as fast as you'd think. They're playing well w/o him, so it's better to think of the long-term all things considered..
On a brighter note, Ariza gets a CAT on Friday and based on his recent activity in practice, workouts... etc. it appears he's likely gonna get the OK to return. Another young, athletic defender is always a good thing in the playoffs..
Things are looking good in Lakerland!

Re: M...
Utah, like every team left, has proven to be a tough at home, even though we took'em to OT at least. I think we take tonight and hopefully we can make the shots in game 6 up there and get some rest..
Ariza update from the LA Times today...
"Forward Trevor Ariza was cleared to practice but is still probably at least a week from being able to play in a game.
Ariza has been out since Jan. 20 because of a broken bone in his right foot. He consulted with doctors this week and was told that the bone was not completely healed, but the chances of fracturing it again were remote.
He will probably need to work on his conditioning before being put into a game situation.
I said a week or two, he said one week Phil Jackson said. We'll see what it's going to be."
Turiaf the Jazz Killer!!

Re: M...
LAKERS WIN AGAIN and go up 3-2
Now back to Utah to put em away
That was BS they pulled on Turiaf.....Sloan bitches but he knows back when he played vs Jerry West or Phil Jackson they did that every game and all it was back then was a foul.
Ariza is ready but he didn't get in this game and Bynum will be lucky to play in the Finals but we can win without him this time.
