Friday night rehearsal dinner...

Saturday wedding...

Saturday night reception...

Sunday complete emotional and physical exhaustion...

Monday afternoon the call that my daughter-in-law is at the hospital preparing to give me a grandson... Clayton Kurtis.

WOW! I'll say it again... Ain't life grand? clap

2:30am Saturday will be boarding our flight from BWI to St Thomas, have a stop over in Philly too. The trip was 400 cheaper if I did it that way, I would have rather have went to Philly. Thats OK, the sacrifices I make for Blue water.

Congrats Kurt, I know what it was like with my first Grand Son. Nothing beats it.

Oh certainly, 2shocker! He's got a jersey, shoes, and a brick for the Walk of Fame already. I never spoiled the kids... but this little guy's already got a good bit of spoilin goin on!

BTW - 5:22 PM 04/29/2008 was the official date and time of Grandpa-dom!

You should also teach the youngster to like purple and add the Lakers to his collection so he won't have to be a depressed Pacers fan smile

No kid in Indiana in their right mind would be a Lakers fan. LOL


Being a Pacers fan and going through the pain is a birthright and annual rite of passage in Indiana...


But just think My own grandfather double cursed me.... A Pacers fan AND a cubs fan.

Always reminds me of the day I was in Indy about an hour before I was at the RCA to see the Colts vs Ravens.

I see outside the Omni Hotel is the local Indy espn radio station on the street having a contest to throw the football through a target to win some stuff so I go down there and the first thing that happens is the 3 radio station people point out I am wearing my leather LAKERS jacket from the 2000 NBA championship........I wasn't even planning on that but as Kurt knows that is the season that the LAKERS beat the Pacers in the NBA Finals.....here I am right down the street from the Pacers new building!

They start telling me I don't get to try the passing contest (just joking) and then I open my jacket and point out I am wearing my authentic #19 Unitas jersey!

That didn't help all that much.......so I told them I was from a couple thousand miles away.....so they let me play the game......and of course I won......TWICE!

I think I see Cravn and Kurt at this game.......
