Couple of Nice Lookin' Colts Fans BlueAndKurt

Thanks, Kurt, for the great time and for arranging that game outcome!! Full set of trip photos will be on Facebook eventually. Gonna try to convert that video of the last touchdown drive by the Colts into a YouTube.

Did Kurt give you a tour of some of the city?

As I watched the end of the game I was thinking about how you guys must have been happy to see that.

Did you go to St Elmo's ?

Oh and the Texans actually won by a couple TD's so give me a T.P. wtf

No tour by Kurt. I got in around 3:30 on Saturday and there really wasn't a lot of time for that. I walked around the city for about 2 hours taking photos and doing the tourist thing but nothing beyond that. It was pretty cool (around 50 degrees) and breezy so that had an effect on things as well. Never considered St. Elmo's. Kurt and I went to the Colts Grille after the game for sandwiches and drinks and good relaxation. My voice was going out on me (didn't have it at all on Monday morning) after that game. The drive back home was long (about 10 hours total) but much more enjoyable than it might have been had the Colts lost.

I keep trying to embed this. It seems to work but then when I refresh the page the whole post goes away?

Let's just do it with a link: Colts winning touchdown drive

Took this with my cheapo photo camera so it's not supper high quality for sure. It certainly doesn't do justice to the crowd noise after the score.

The invite is always there, Mighty! I can even get the ticket thing worked out - without you having to pay scalper prices! (The seats next to Blue went for $300 each! ohshit AND they weren't even IN their seats for most of the 2nd half!)

Nice video Blue Brother

You held the camera better than I would have and that shot up at the bigscreen was great REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE

And that cheesehead between you and the field made it look even better.

Fun watching your team score like that when you are sitting that close isn't it?

Yeah that Colts Grille is quite the place.....all the stuff on the walls to look at.

When we went it was during a time when we were the only ones there so it was like our own Man Cave......and yes even Cravn liked it there smile

So you drove 10 hours straight?

Man I haven't done that since 1984

Wish you would have made it when we were back there (I stayed 5 days)

Different place, Magic. We went to the Blue Crew. Norm and I were at the Colts Grill. A new place where the OTB was - over by the Artsgarden (big glass "thing" over the intersection).

Think less pub, more upscale = more expen$ive. No where near the memorabilia at the new place. (They should give Crav a ring...)

Yes they should..The Mancave starts today, we settle at 1pm..I cannot wait, all that memorbilia that has been sitting in boxes and boxes for 12 years!!!!!! It will now be proudly displayed..The JohnnyU jersey will go directly over the fireplace.

Kurt did they do away with the OTB???

Blue Crew bar was my fav, what a nice place with lots of Colts stuff.

No, just moved it up the street a block or two. That space was too valuable location-wise to continue with that usage... restaurants and bars generate FAR more income from rents than an OTB.
