NBA, but I try to keep it to totals and second half bets when the favorite is down.
Ex: When a 5 point fave is down by 4 at the half, the book will usually have the fave giving 6-7 in the second half. Since the game usually finishes 1-2 points off (and I have no idea how they do it), the fave more often than not covers the second half spread, even if they lose the game spread by a point or two.
It happens alot, but not often enough to salve my impatience for wagering, so I pretty much lose mostly on the totals. Except when the Suns play, 9 outta 10 times that's an over..
See? Sounds like I know what I'm talkin' about. Sign of a sure loser...

I have played some contests in the NBA a few times (point spreads and over/unders and winners)
I did pretty good and usually finished in the top 5 and we had lots of players and I see they still run one on the trailblazer board but hell 82 games is too many for me to pick so I just stick to the NFL and I used to do college football years ago but just lost interest in them too.
And I know how much luck is involved just picking the NFL games and I have picked every game since 1971

You can tell by my points this year and Arkmans too.

Well, I gotta admit, I made more than a little money this year off the picks from this board. I took the 2 most popular consensus picks each week and picked one of them to hammer the opposite way with the book. Pretty much worked every week..
