Here is what I did last night...

I got to chase my dobe who was chasing a cat, Went to put him out last night and I guess there was a cat lurking in the yard... I got him on his tie-out...(which is a damn 3/8 in steel cable rated for dogs twice his size) and he took off after the cat... that fucker actually SNAPPED a 3/8 in steel cable without blinking an eye and it was on for the cat race( and yes, he snapped the CABLE not the fittings).. luckily there are lots of mature trees around and Mr. Cat made it up one with his skin intact and Bo was intent on the cat so he stayed where it was treed but it was a good halfmile from where it started...


Dobermans are funny animals.... NOTHING that he doesn't know is allowed to survive in his domain...(unless of course it's the neighborhood kids, who all love to come and pet and play with him and give him treats)

I would HATE to be a criminal or a somebody up to no good and have one of those dogs after me though, I was running at a full sprint and never even got close to him until he stopped at the tree of course that is their "job" so I can't be mad at him for doing it....
