my brother-in-law and sister takes off foer vegas today and I gave him a 40 bucks to put on the Cubs winning the World Series......... 
Whaddya think,should I have taken that 40 and rolled the window down in my truck at a high rate of speed and let my money go out the window?
Or do you think that I could be counting some cash this October?

How does that work if no one is going to be if the cubs win? will you just have to fly to vegas and pick up your winnings?
I know someone who just got to vegas yesterday and I might have to put some long shot bet like that down on the Phillies...

Actually I think you have 1 year to collect your winnings.
And by b-i-l and sister go out to Vegas 3 times a year.............So I`d have no prob in collecting.

Thursday or friday I think were are gonna go see the thoroughbreds.

Well I got my bet in...............12-1 odds they win it.
I thought the odds should have went up after Santana got traded to the mets............They should be tough to beat unless they fold like a giants team in the SB.....

Yeah, I am pissed about the Santana deal. 
The Phillies had a great offseason. We lost Rowand, but we got a solid closer, which in turn gave us a solid starter, and we got some other decent talent (Third Base, Outfield, and Pitching). Then the Mets had to go out and try to buy the damn thing, just like the Yankees. This season will be interesting. I still think we will own the Mets because of the way we dominated them last season and made them choke. I love baseball...
