Here's the rules (at least those rules available on here for everyone to read) that pertain:

Because of slight variations in the NFL's weekly schedule, the Bookie Challenge has specific guidelines that must be strictly adhered to when participants are posting their weekly selections. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to post his/her picks before the perscribed deadlines. Failure to abide by the proper procedures will result in the disqualification of any erroneously posted picks.

The selection of any games as best bets must be posted before the start of the earliest NFL game scheduled for that particular day.

I'm not a judge here. I'll leave that up to Mighty and Magic as official Cadre members but SA's picks at 1:11 do violate the rule.

The Posting Deadline has always been a big deal in this game......you must get your picks in on time, or they don't count.

So, in SA's case, the first kickoff of the day occured at 11:00am, so everybody has to have their picks in by 10:59am.

I myself have missed the deadline a good number of times over the years, and I was never given an exception. A few times I missed the deadline by one or two minutes......but I didn't receive an exception.

And neither will SA

By the way, last year Kobe missed the deadline, but that was because of technical issues, which is probably the only exception to the Posting Deadline rule.

I cannot imagine our future Pulitzer Prize-winning participant hoping to emulate the Shades of Gra/ey author's success is going to get his panties in a bunch.
