Angry old man on the porch's observations...

Post  ColtsKurt on 11/12/2017, 5:33 pm

So I'm thinking I should start a new thing... my observations about this ragtag bunch of miscreants.  Or maybe I won't.  Just an angry old man on the porch putting out the truth.

If you think you've earned the right to comment on the true and obviously well thought out observations... bring it.   Makes no difference to me... because you losers are very bad, disagreeable, and disgusting.  In other words... you suck.  Be prepared to be told the truth by Kurt.

I was hoping for a lucky 50 in fact........of course that is just a wild dream lol

Looks like Mary has no chance of catching you since she always forgets to do her picks here.....and over at the other pretend BC site santa

Post  ColtsKurt on 1/5/2018, 3:14 am

Given I'm one that was a high  hey_mon  school-er in the 70's, it should come as no surprise that I am an advocate of the decriminalization of the doobs.  To me it is just like booze... self control and personal responsibility.  I am a believer in the medicinal qualities of marijuana.  I may or may not have utilized the weed for exactly that while awaiting back surgery a couple times - with the "blessing" of a neuro-surgeon that will go unnamed here.  Let's see... eat copious amounts of manufactured pain pills and stay awake for days - 10 days on 17 total hours of sleep (true dat) - or partake of a natural plant from God's good earth and receive the same benefit - and not have my bowels tied up tighter than Magic's fingers around a Franklin AND be able to get some rest.

That said, I've been saying for several years that the states that were "legalizing" the chronic were getting waaaay ahead of themselves.  It. Remains. A. Federal. Offense.  All it took was for a new administration - ahem - to take a different stance - ahem - and their leafy green empires could/would come tumbling down.  Go up in smoke, if you will.
Well guess what.  Huh... who would've thunk.

Sure wish there was a way to make money off of good old common sense.  I guess if the Feds can't get their hands in the pot 'o cash being made, then no one can.  Just think of all the money that could be raised to... I dunno... re-fund Social Security?  Pay for universal health-care?  Explore the world we live on - you do realize that there are places on this earth we haven't been/can't go to (see: bottom of the oceans) - rather than send billion dollar space ships to galaxies far, far away (so we can have cool enhanced pictures)?

I better get back inside and off this front porch.  It's colder than the proverbial witch's tit (apologies to our resident Minnesotan barrister) out here.

Re: Angry old man on the porch's observations...

Post  Magic on 1/5/2018, 2:05 pm

Yeah Washington,Colorado, and California, and Oregon have proven it now has thousands of MORE criminals and dopes who want this weed and they expect it to be free and then get a free place to live since they have this disease they like to call drug disease here.

Thousands of them in Washington State now........I guess weed did not cure the fact they are lazy bastards that expect to be supported by the government who then expects that money from tax payers.

Hell here they claim weed sales would get millions of dollars in tax money.........well where the hell is all this money.......it has been several years now.

Hell you never heard of Chimacum until you saw my post office box......it is an old intersection with one 4-way light.......and NOW 2 weed stores 100 feet apart.

Drive another 2 miles.......more weed stores.....couple more miles.....more weed stores.

HUGE weed farms with security cameras all around them and now we have rich grows and sellers who get to call it legal........funny how ANYONE would trust these former illegal growers and sellers to actually keep actual records and pay the taxes they claimed they would be paying.

Make anything legal and expect the ones who do the former crime for a living and expect them to tell the truth?.....pay the taxes??

laughing

So now we have thousands more that moved here to get legal weed and then expect and get the money from the State every month.

Now just what is it that weed cures???

The usual scam is it cures poor lil kids who have seizures.......yeah the country just has millions of lil kids having seizures don't they.

And of course they scammed the vote here by claiming it cures CANCER of all things......pure BS

Funny the guy that started this fairy tale of how great and special and important and even religious it is and how medicinal it is DIED of CANCER at barely 36 years of age......yeah the guy on the t-shirt  of ALL the weed growers and sellers and vote scammers  Robert Nesta Marley

He even got buried in his box with a branch of weed......and he never jumped back out of that box eaither.

Oh and of course Tommy Chong claims it is medicinal but tries to leave out the part that he made piles of cash with his scam so he can pay the most expensive cancer doctors and hospitals he can find.......if his weed cures it than why does he need them?.....if it cures it then why do they even get cancer???

Oh and of course those white weed scammers with their dreadlocks say weed never killed anyone.......BS

Just me here in BF Washington knows of several that while smoking and driving and paying no attention drove at 60+mph into a tree or and other car and killed themselves and other people.

And here on the west coast these jackasses would read what I say and just say I am some redneck who never saw or smoked any weed and just made that all up.

I won't say why here BUT I have seen and had more weed and weed plants within inches of me than 99.99% of humans
The only ones I know that were not just lazy ass bums smoking weed from the second they wake up until they pass out at night to dream about weed were a very rare few that actually went to work every day and supported their family and did NOT spend every minute of the day smoking weed and expecting tax payers to pay for them so they can have more time to smoke weed and work hard sitting at the bar and the casino's here losing that State check they get and some even make money betting that State check.......which is a Federal crime.

And todays weed smokers are worse than the lazy 60's dopes.

They call scratching records and saying cuss words real fast and holding their dicks with one hand and waving the other one back and forth "POETRY"
And morons like snoop dogg and tupac brilliant philosophers and they can prove it by looking it up on their cell phones.

Those clowns get millions for this lack of talent and they get that money from idiots who smoke weed all day and hand them over that State check.

So here we get commercials all day with the local churches telling us how they have hundreds of poor starving people and how they have been fighting to end this problem since 1972.......AND this STATE has always been run by the extreme left liberal crooks who keep playing this game to get votes and eventually retire as multi-millionaires in BIG houses in a community where they will never see any of these thousands of bums they invited to live here on the west coast.

Hell let them keep doing this and in trade take EVERY Electoral Vote away from them and let these fools pay for and run these States WITHOUT the government and laws they refuse to obey and live in this "sanctuary"

Just wait until they get all 50 States to be like the west coast States......the USA will soon be the NEW Third World country......as the Arab countries and socialists and communists roll on the floor laughing.

I won't be around and won't have to lay in this pig pen full of dizzy idiots with the IQ of a pile of dog shit.

Yeah Hussein Obama saved the world........look how great him and his buddy Rahm Emanuel made Chicago and all the other big cities where criminals shoot each other and murder by the 100's of thousands and THEN claim cops did it and they are all innocent and had their BLM hands up.....funny those are the very same cities that get the MOST left-wing votes every year. (Detroit,Chicago,Atlanta,Baltimore,Memphis,Los Angeles,New Orleans,Philly,Pittsburgh,Kansas City,Oakland,).......and hell even watching Indiana on the daily news is like they want to be just like those cities and set crime records and see who can murder the most and then say the "COPS DID IT AND WE ARE INNOCENT"

http://rapidcityjournal.com/news/national/the-cities-with-the-highest-murder-rates-in-the-us/collection_0e7dd367-2f62-5822-b849-97f4e9a43e3d.html#31

Yeah legal weed would sure change that now wouldn't it (rhetorical question)

Back in the past the people with even half a wit could smoke some weed AND stay out of trouble.......BUT NOW they want everything to be legal and then lie that it has no affect on the rest of the people.
It is just great having a country with the majority of the people being as stupid as a baby playing in a shitty diaper.

(ok I tried not to even say anything but I live in a State where I am surrounded by this BS)

I always like reggae music from way back 40 years ago BUT I don't just listen and do what a song or a musician says and consider it a fact.
Here is an example of why......

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Marley ..........just scroll on down that page to see how he died and what he believed to be a fact.

I can't sleep.......up at 4-something AM watching a pbs type program about traveling all over.

Like maybe packing up and putting all my travel type things (hell I never travel) and this laptop to hook up at hotels

The only thing I have to really plan is having all my prescriptions refilled so I could go a month without thinking about that.

And set my other fastest computers to run on automatic so I can just keep an eye on my Cern and Einstein work.

The women would most likely bitch and make up excuses.......hell I could even do  this by myself.

(she woke up a couple hours ago to tell me about another strange dream.......this time I took her to Israel to buy her YARN and then she got left behind and later told I was taken by the Fakestinians  wtf  ).

I have lived here on this property most of my life.........yes almost 35 years.......and I really am not ready for this "60th birthday" thing  wtf

Funny the only thing I can think about is how the car I drive these days is a gas hog so most of the money would be in that gas tank......I do like to coast and drive the speed limit these days......but still....it is a gas hog.

I could take her fuel efficient Honda Accord ........if she was going too........her 2 kids are in their 40's and STILL bother their mom daily and not with any normal things........I have one that is 35 and a typical jackass we have these days........(he won't be in my Will)

But then all my relatives are gone.......just some half-brothers and sister my mom decided to make after I was 19 so I don't know them and none of them are people I could even put up with.

Wish I could make the government just make it a National Park .....oh yeah I would have to fill double the hummingbird feeders so this batch of 30 winter H-birds always have food.

Then I have this Masonic situation.....actually one is my moms brother who I haven't actually seen since about 1974 and her sisters who I also haven't seen and they are all in their upper 70's

After that.......well I just did a DNA test and since I am a computer geek I have found living DNA matches all over the world and traced my Dads side back over 500 years to Surrey England before they moved over to Virginia in the early 1600's.....and as far as mom I only traced her with the DNA

If only we had 10,000 BC members and I got a lucky win this time or gold would rain down on my lawn........or PCH would drive up in a van with that .......pile of cash for life

...... boohoo

Sweet! Just bought my tickets for the Steely Dan / Doobie Brothers concert here on June 24...

Walter Becker passed away, but I gotta believe Fagan will have a worthy fill-in. Then, to have the Doobies at the same show?

My hearing is bad... what the hell - I've gotten a good 61 years from these ears... may as well go ahead and blow them out for what will surely be a great show.

They are a good combination for sure and you can even feel young since they are all older than you lol  (the original ones anyway)

Donald Fagen probably would like Beckers wife to change places with Becker joker

Be better if McDonald  and  Mr Skunk would join them for the show too.

Patrick Simmons will be there (he was born over west of me  in  BFE  laughing  )
But he was moved down south to get into his hipster ways.

Today was the last straw for the BS that ESPN does with their homosexual partner Facebook

Since Facebook runs ESPN's message boards for the hundreds of sports threads and they use the old mZinga program that lets you post but it actually is only seen by yourself.......and when you log off you Facebook account........nothing is there.

ESPN has been lucky to make that crooked money they get every time you click on a page where they actually think any member clicks on those adds or plays the stupidass video clips.

And since DISH told us today about a raise in the monthly cost this year it made it EASY to DELETE ESPN from my Dish programming and save $12 per month and I don't mind saving $144 every year either  cowboy  ........now if I could just get a decent antenna that would pick up the network channels I could cut another $120 per year off of that bill  king

Re: Angry old man on the porch's observations...

Post  =SA= on 1/22/2018, 5:51 pm

Listen up now. Here are the musing from my front porch rocker:

I am very happy to play the BC next year just the way it is but; I have some suggestions of how we might tinker with it. Just seems like our point allocation could be changed to keep from the Superbowl having so much weight on the outcome. Here are some thought:

* Leave the regular season exactly as it is. Don't change a damn thing.
* Give the Divisional Champ 5 points, he/she earned it will all of their hard work though out the year.
* Increase the wild cards to 3 and give them 2.5 points to start the postseason.
* Round 1 .. Up the best bet points to 2 points. These are more important games than regular season games. Give the 3 team parlay 2 points as well
* Round 2 .. Up the best bet and 3 team parlays to 3 points each
*Round 3 .. This is the Championship round. Up the best bet points to 5 but don't have 3 team parlay

SuperBowl

* Leave the pre superbowl picks the same. Can't remember many people getting it right anyhow
* Give 10 points to the superbowl winner against the spread
* Give 5 points to the over under
* Give 2.5 points to the straight up winner
* Give 2.5 points to the closest to the point total at halftime and another 2.5 full game total
* Give 3 points to the MVP candidate

Leave all of the prop bets intact but only give 1/2 point to each. They are fun but should not have a heavy interest in helping to crown our King!

But like I said, more than happy to play next year just the way it is ..

Re: Angry old man on the porch's observations...

Post  Magic on 1/23/2018, 10:11 am

BTW sure it sounds like 5 for a division winner and 3 for the wild cards sound great if you are one of them but if you miss those by just one point you won't be happy starting with 0 points and the ones you barely lose to starting 5 or 3 ahead of you.

And Wildcard weekend is 4 games and there are already 5 points there and sure maybe call it a perfecta that gets more than 5 if you get them all (but I got the only one so if you want to give me even MORE than those 5 points I will be happy to have them lol )

And those same 5 points for the Divisional playoff weekend where here too since there is 4 games. (no perfectas there this year) so the only place I see raising that would also making the perfecta worth more than the basic 5 points)

Then the Conference playoffs is just two games......I can see maybe making the best bets 2 points each and the parlay 3 total so you could get 7 for that final playoff week.........I'm sure Kurt and Prime would like that this year but most of us didn't get anything more than one point so I know that 0 you just got would help you much lol

And this is the first season we even had the Division winner getting 3 points and the Wildcard getting 1.5 and all the other seasons it was only 1 and 2 points for that and I DID think that was insane after all those regular season weeks picking.

THAT is why I raised it to 3pts and 1.5pts at the start of the season.

I could see maybe 4 and 2 as the bonus next season.........THIS season me getting to use all of my 43 points along with my 12 playoff points sounds even better since 55 points going into SB Sunday would be a easy win hellyes

So we picked up the lovely bride's new wheels this weekend... traded in my 07 Hyundai Azrera for a 17 Buick Envision that she'll drive. I roll into her Ford Edge. We're an all all wheel drive household now. The reason I'm angry and out on the porch... have a car payment again. Been payment free for 5 yrs.
