Welcome home, mon! "Peculiar" as in what way? Some of your picks are "peculiar" at times but I doubt that's what you're talking about. I, too, cannot open the grid from my phone. I've tried both Chrome and Firefox browsers to no avail. The HTML code that gets inserted by the editor looks the same as it's always looked...I scrolled back a few years to compare the link coding and it's the same within the editor. I'll dig into the actual HTML code that gets generated and maybe I can come up with a work-around. Having said that, I probably won't give it more than 5 minutes of my very valuable time. ohshit

OK. Here's the problem. The forum editor that allows us to type stuff generates the underlying HTML to actually paint or display the web page. If you want to insert a hypertext link (words you can click on to open another web page), you enter the URL and the text to display and the Forum site editor generates the "proper" HTML. Here's a portion of what it actually puts in the final web page (it inserts this between appropriate HTML start and end tags for a hyperlink:

You see that bold "rel=nofollow"? Well that tells Chrome or Firefox or whatever browser is displaying the page to NOT follow the link if you click on it. Interestingly, it works on the PC using Chrome but it doesn't work on an Android (or iPhone?) phone. So, the magic code that the Bookie Challenge editor is generating is the culprit. I don't know how to tell it to NOT insert the "nofollow" thingy. If it inserts anything for a "rel" tag it should read "external" to allow the link to occur. I scrolled back through some BC posts of a few years ago and looked at the underlying HTML and those did NOT have the "nofollow" tab but, instead, used "rel=canonical".

So, just because you're such a swell guy, I just spent an hour and found a way to work around the problem. Basically, I had to turn off using the forum's "bb" code for the post and go with straight HTML so it didn't screw things up. Try it now, on your phone and let me know. It worked on my Samsung phone (the links appear as underlined).

LMAO......it looked perfect before and after.......BUT I am not a cell phone apple over-priced computer owner or user.

As a Microsoft user and actual home telephone user I use BBcode and can read any code under the Sun.

Now it makes me wonder if Kurt EVER has seen ALL these point spread pages I make every week drinkbeer

Just in case.....it has NEVER been a plain page with tiny black text and no color lol

MOST of that is just what I see........BUT do you also see the moving pics??

I usually put more on there but it still has the flying Geese (swimming in action) and the flying cash

OH and the link to the picks is not updated to look like this one yet

The moving pictures of the money flipping and the geese show up on the phone and are moving. So the phone (my non-Apple phone, at least) seems to display things fine using its Chrome browser.

Yeah I use Chrome on all of my Windows OS's (and I have 7 computers running 24/7)
