Are you down here for Easter? I'll be over your way if so, my grandson is spending Easter break at sanabelle island,

I'm definitely hitting pinchers seafood while over there

Nope. Easter's late this year. I'll be on Anna Maria Island for the month of March. Should be back home by April 3-4.

Wife and I spent time on Sanibel Island years ago... beautiful place and restricted building kept it "Key West-ish," as in undeveloped, back then. 1980, I believe. Seemed odd to have to pay the toll each time on-to or off-of the island. Shells galore! Best shelling I have ever seen.

Sanibel Island's about 80 miles south of Anna Maria Island. And, Kurt, AMI also has building restrictions so the place has an "old Florida" feel. Nothing over 3 stories, no restauramt chains. Pretty laid back with a free hop on - hop off trolley system to reduce traffic congestion. Two weeks to go!!

I hope this weather pattern holds true for when you get here, cool mornings and 80 to 85 days. It's absolutely gorgeous down here. It was so warm Sunday I had to get in the ocean.

Be drivin' by tomorrow morning, John. About to hit Savannah this afternoon then to Kingsland, GA for the night. Should hit Bradenton, FL around noon tomorrow. Better warm up...50 right now.

77 and sunny today.  Moved into the condo, took a two mile beach walk then relaxed by the pool the rest of the afternoon.  Next two days predicted to be sunny and 77 as well.  Back home?  Kurt in Indy is shipping 6-10 inches of the white stuff into good old PA starting tomorrow evening.  Also temps in the 20's all week.  Got out of there none too soon. Oh and 18 holes scheduled for Wednesday!! Life is good.
