Check it out, Kobe-

Seared Brussels Sprouts

1.5 pounds sprouts
4 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves finely chopped garlic
2 tbsp lemon juice
Half cup water
Salt and pepper to taste

1) Chop off ends of sprouts, cut in half.
2) Add olive oil to saucepan, heat on medium high, and then add sprouts and garlic. The idea is to give them a slightly brown seared look, so you want higher-than-normal heat at first.
3) Brown sprouts for about 5 minutes, turning ever minute or so.
4) Lower heat to medium.
5) Slowly add water, salt and pepper.
6) Add lemon juice and cover for approx. five minutes, turning occasionally.
