Not good fellows..

The Colts got the news they feared and Dallas Clark is out for the season.

“It's unfortunate, but it's been confirmed that surgery is necessary to repair the injury to my wrist,” Clark said in a statement released by the team. “I have met with three great surgeons, Dr. (Arthur) Rettig of the Colts, Dr. (Thomas) Wiedrich in Chicago and Dr. (Thomas) Graham in Cleveland.

"All three have helped me and my family out tremendously during this process. I look forward to supporting my teammates the rest of this season and rehabilitating my wrist back to full strength for next season.”

With Austin Collie out for a couple games after thumb surgery, we need to see if Anthony Gonzalez is ready to return. He’s been out with an ankle issue since getting hurt in the opener.

If he’s back, the Colts can still employ four receivers with Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Gonzalez and Blair White. And we’re going to see Jacob Tamme and Brody Eldridge get some chances to catch passes.

Without Clark, the Colts are much easier to matchup with.
