He is a physical corner, he was never really fast, but played quick on the field before his knee injury. Seemed to be a little injury prone as well... He might be a better safety than a CB imho though.

Marlin was one of those guys that did his job admirably, and generally didn't get burned. His name is bigger because of the Colts D, Sanders/Bullitt, and the team. He'll be solid, but a step slow.

Good point, 2shock. He may be better/more of an impact as a safety.

Supposedly the Vikings are interested in Jackson but it doesn't look like they want any part of a bidding war because they haven't scheduled a visit with him. Then again, Leslie Frazer was his coach in Indy so they probably know all they need to know about him ... He would have to pass a physical to get signed anyway ...

Jackson is definately an above-average DB, but that's not the issue. If you're gonna sink money into this dude, make sure the signing bonus is affordable and up-front in the contract, with the rest of the money based on games played, because any player that blows a knee in consecutive years DURING PRACTICE is a big gamble.

So....if he stays healthy, he's solid.....just like Sanders, but both of those dudes are made out of glass.
