The first new spacecraft in over 30 years is on it's way to the launch pad (I'm watching it on NASATV right now)

It will be launched on Mrs. Magic's birthday (Oct 27th) I told her I bought it for her birthday present smile

Cravn you should go down there and watch the launch since it is part of history like way back when we launced the first shuttle.

Damn that thing is so tall rolling out there.....327ft

This is to replace the old shuttle project we have had longer than some of our BC members have been alive.

Can't wait to see the launch.

So if you have NASATV go take a look.

Ah, yes sunny

Hey Magic....kinda has the Old School NASA feeling, doesn't it wuv wuv wuv

Reminds me of the Redstone hellyes

I can't wait until they test the heavy booster.....it's a monster, I tell you!!! shout shout

It'll be sad to say goodbye to the shuttle, but we are at least 15 years overdue for a replacement.

(hey nice additions to the emoticons Mighty)

Yeah I agree......it is long past due with this and pretty much everything thanks to whiners who think NASA is a waste of money......

We should have been back on the Moon 25 years ago.

THAT would have made it quicker and easier to land man on Mars.

I had to take a few pic of Ares before I went to bed since it was sunrise back in Florida.
