She booked a trip last month to Jamaica, she is supposed to depart Thursday..Jamaica is evacuating now (volunteer) I asked her if she purchased "trip insurance" would do you think a 29 year old's answer was. Sounds like she just flushed a grand.

Now Drew on the other hand, he leaves in 2 weeks, and he did take the insurance..

Both my kids are goofy, why do you even book in Hurricane season to the Caribbean? Glad I go in May.

I had today off because our job slowed down a little bit.... well my boss calls me today at 5:00 and tells me I need to go to TIPTON for a couple of weeks to work...... I tell him NO WAY IN HELL.... thats a freaking 2 HOUR drive for me with gas at close to $4.00 a gallon I was ALREADY spending right at $600 a month for gas driving to McCordsville... and then this guy wants me to drive anothe hour on top of that? Sunday was the open house for season ticketholders and you know CK was right there from the start.

I searched for my Walk of Fame brick (and yours too, Magic) but didn't find either. Just today I received the letter telling me where to find it. Magic, tell me where yours is and I'll get a picture for you.

As you enter the main entrance (North side facing the downtown skyline) you immediately know who put their name on the palace. For motorheads its a paradise! You've got two "rail" ...

A couple days ago I went to the store 2 miles down the road and it was $4.39 so I drove slowly the other way about a 12 mile round trip and got it for $4.31.......just got $25 worth to fill my 6 gallon gas can to use to mow the lawn (total of $107 so far just to mow)

I even pushed my new 21in mower around for 3 hours just to see how much less it burned than the 48in riding Deere.

I really did get a lot done using a lot less gas.....but then pushin' that thing all over is a bit of work ...

My moms friend has reinvited me to apply for a building inspectors job with the City of Indy.......

Now I might take a closer look at that job..... the starting salary is less than I make now, but the drive to downtown Indy wouldn't hurt the pocketbook quite as much.... (hell I could probably take the bus lol)

their benefits are off the hook though 13 paid holidays, 4 weeks paid vacation, sick days, personal days........ Damn it's no wonder nothing ever gets ...
